Materials and Applications Guide

Deflex has a broad set of thermoplastic polymers that are complementary in their properties and benefits. Beyond their different features, this set of polymeric materials shares a common genetic quality that can be observed in the low permeation of liquids, higher resistance than the conventional acrylic resins, and an outstanding elastic memory.

Guiding table to choose the material according to its main applications for removable dentures:

	In order, from the most rigid to the most flexible. Select according to flexibility need of the denture. More rigid dentures are easier to polish and shine.
Full dentures	M10 XR - ACRILATO FD
	Both with Chemical bond with Acrylic and very low shrinkage
Temporary dentures / Occlusal splints	M10 XR - ACRILATO FD
	Both with Chemical bond with the conventional Acrylic resin.
Aesthetic clasps	ACETAL AC
	Injectable acetal with tooth-colored retainers. CLASSIC SR and FLUENCE SR can also be used to make translucent pink aesthetic retainers.
Partial denture frameworks	ACETAL AC - DEFLEX PEEK
	ACETAL AC is easy to inject and polish. DEFLEX PEEK offers more resistance and stiffness.
Overdentures	M10 XR - ACRILATO FD
	Both with chemical bond with th conventional Acrylic resin.

Highly stable dimensional opaque acetal polymer.

Low level of absorption of liquids: it does not impregnate, it does not change the color.

Note on transparent color: Materials in their transparent version are indicated preferably for occlusal splints. Their use is not recommended for partial or complete dentures, as these transparent dentures will reveal the shadows in the oral cavity.

Are pre-dried, colored and packaged in aluminum tubes.

Expiration date: 24 months

Why are they packaged in individual cartridges rather than in bulk?

In order to protect the material from moisture and impurities.
In order to optimize dental technician’s times, avoiding drying, cleaning, transfer and closing of tubes .
